Sandy Tsalavoutas

Financial Controller

Sandy is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. After completing articles in South Africa, he moved to Europe and worked for multi-nationals in England and France, then settled in Perth in 2007 where he worked at Rio Tinto Dampier Salt Limited (DSL).  Sandy spent 11 years at DSL progressing from site accountant to Financial Controller, holding the finance function together through many structural changes. After leaving Rio Tinto, Sandy worked as a Group Accountant at RUC Mining Contractors and joined the Board of SAFE Inc. Sandy also assists the Board of Gascoyne Gateway Ltd, a marine infrastructure start-up.

Sandy joined Leichhardt in March 2024.
