Richard has over 30 years of experience in safety, business improvement, and strategic risk management with various organisations including Bis, Newmont Mining and BHP. He has operated at senior levels within diverse and global mining or mining services companies across various commodities. He has designed, implemented, influenced, and supported safety and risk programs for operations across Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Africa, and the Americas.

Richard's experience and deep knowledge of safety, risk, and business improvement allow him to design and develop strategies and transform them into everyday operational applications and practices.

Richard is also a board member of Miners’ Promise, a not-for-profit organisation that assists families through challenging times due to incidents in the mining industry and works to make a positive difference in our communities.
