Jody Cellar

Technical Services Manager

Jody is a chemical engineer with over 20 years’ experience in design, project development and operation in the resource and minerals industry, municipal and industrial water management, and environmental remediation.  After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Minor in Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, Jody worked in various consulting and operational roles in USA, Canada, and New Zealand; before settling in Australia. In her 10 years with Rio Tinto Dampier Salt, Jody established an expert understanding of the technical aspects of solar salt production, while identifying and delivering extensive improvements in salt quality and production efficiencies. 

Jody plays a leading role in the technical aspects of Leichhardt’s operations and developing projects for long term economical delivery of high quality salt and gypsum products.

Jody joined Leichhardt in May 2021.
