People & Culture Manager

Vanessa has more than 30 years’ experience in senior people, culture and organisational effectiveness roles. Her executive management positions have included Sheffield Resources, Resolute Mining and Millenium Minerals working across remote mine sites in regional Australia and West Africa. She has also run her own consulting business for many years.

Vanessa has expertise in building, engaging and supporting the retention of diverse workforces. She has broad HR experience across the employment life cycle including talent development, organisational culture and change programs, remuneration and incentive plans, organisational design and merger and acquisition.

Vanessa’s passion is to partner with business leaders and team members to facilitate improvement and growth at organisational, team and individual levels. Her experience allows her to encourage kinder practices, open conversations and a strong focus on building emotional intelligence to support an individual’s personal and professional growth and bring fresh ways of working within and across teams.

Vanessa’s approach is people centred and solution focused. She is excited to be working with the team at Leichhardt to help create a bright new future for one and all.
