Leichhardt partners the 2021 Dampier Classic
Leichhardt is proud to be an official partner of the 2021 Dampier Classic, hosted by the King Bay Game Fishing Club in Dampier.
A fleet of local and visiting fisherman will contend the 45th edition of the four day tournament, set to commence on the 6th of August 2021. The competition is usually staged every year, however it returns for the first time since 2019, following disruption from the global pandemic last year. The competition is sanctioned by the West Australian Game Fishing Association (WAGFA).
The King Bay Game Fishing Club was established in the late 60s in the Dampier Archipelago with the objectives to promote saltwater game tag and release fishing under the international and national rules and regulations. Leichhardt joins Ryco 24/7, the Gamefishing Association of Australia, the International Gamefish Association, City of Karratha, Adventure Sports and WAGFA as Official Sponsors of the Dampier Classic.
