Leichhardt’s Eramurra project to bolster Karratha region

Leichhardt’s Eramurra Solar Salt Project is located just 55kms southwest of Karratha and expects to create over 270 jobs for the local workforce during and post construction.

This new solar salt project will help diversify the West Australian resources sector and will deliver multi-billion dollar economic benefits to the Pilbara region.

There is growing demand in the Asia-Pacific region for high grade industrial salt – a gap which Leichhardt’s Eramurra project will fill.
