Leichhardt Sponsor Northern Spirit Basketball

Our CEO, Nathan Douglas, recently had the pleasure of presenting the Leichhardt sponsored warm up jerseys to the Northern Spirit Basketball Club in Karratha.

Prolific young Yindjibarndi artist Tenellia ‘Biju’ Lockyer designed the jersey artwork, which was inspired by the notion of community and the striking colours of the Pilbara landscape.

We are very grateful to work with a local organisation who shares our values of community and openness. We can’t wait to see over 200 kids and 60 volunteers wearing their jerseys with pride, and are looking forward to the season ahead!

Pictured is Nathan with Club Vice President, Ben Unbehaun, and Club President Morgan Mair. He also got a chance to meet a number of players from the Under 10 - Under 18 teams, and the dedicated NSBC Volunteer Committee members.
